Did you know that 40% of all shots played on the golf course are played using the putter?
The large Huxley Indoor Putting Studio is one of the UK's best venues for practicing the fine art of putting. The studio is one of the first in North Wales and a favourite with local golfers from high handicappers to pga professionals. The facility is open to the public offering a great place to keep your putting sharp over the winter months.
The studio provides an authentic reproduction of the conditions found on the golf course including subtle undualations which imitate outdoor greens.
Features include:
- Tomi pro putting software which analyses 8 parameters of your putting stroke which enables the professional to prescribe the correct drills for quicker results.
- High speed cameras to catch every movement within the putting stroke.
- Ball roll analysis. High speed cameras analysing the first 30cm of ball roll looking specifically for either skid, backspin or topspin and more importantly the point at which true roll begins.
- Balance area, the balance board identifies whether your weight is in the correct position, before, during and after the stroke. Balance during the putting stroke can dramatically influence the path of the putter head.
- Large studio mirror to analyse posture
- Centre cup teaching aid which promotes a square putter face at all times during the stroke.

Driving Range
The Centre also boasts an excellent 19 Bay covered driving range which is both long and wide with targets of up to 300 yards so all golfers can see their shots finish. The range is well presented with fantastic views looking down to the Menai straights.
We only provide top quality range mats and balls and last buckets are issued 30 minutes before closing time. We also provide a wide variety of mens, ladies and junior clubs for hire available for those who would just like to ‘give golf a go’.

The 18 hole Academy course
A perfect addition to compliment the driving range. Its careful design includes high tech artificial greens and the latest grass feel technology teeing areas. The two combined give you the best putting surfaces and near perfect teeing conditions all year round. The course measures 1722 yards off the competition tees.
The Academy course is an ideal venue for “a quick nine”, yes, within a lunch break, on the way back from work, or just before you venture to the shops you will be able to play nine holes in little over one hour. We believe, at present the Academy is one of the finest par three courses in the country, an ideal learning ground for the beginner and yet a challenging test for the established player who wishes to sharpen his/her game.
