In 2010, We established a state of the art Putting Studio, installing Tomi Pro putting analysis equipment that is one of the leading systems for in depth putting analysis. Only a handful of centres in Wales boast the same standard of system, which is used by numerous tour professionals and elite golfers alike, although the average golfer will get just as much from the facility as well. This system allows us to analyse a multitude of different parameters of the putting stroke, including putter face aim, path, rotation, timing and the ability to hit the sweet spot. This enables an instructor to see exactly what is happening throughout your stroke and suggest the best coaching drills and training required to achieve a more successful putting stroke. Likewise this analysis can also be used for putter fitting to determine the best performing head styles, shaft length and weight, loft, lie and grip. Hi ...I'm Matthew Wharton PGA Professional Class AA, turning professional in 2000. I coach golf full time at the North Wales Putting Studio located in Treborth golf complex.

My work with Karl Morris, golf psychologist who works with Lee Westwood and Graeme McDowell has enabled me to gain the accreditation of a Mind factor Coach which will enable me to focus peoples minds and see quicker results.
